Patriot Benefit Purpose

The Heart of America Patriot Foundation introduced the Patriot Benefit on September 11, 2012, Patriot Day, to achieve our mission of honoring veterans and raising funds to support and empower them.

The Benefit opens with a patriotic ceremony honoring the selfless sacrifices of veterans and their families. It includes 150 American flags, a rifle salute, and the solemn sound of taps played by bugler on a nearby hill.  This leaves everyone with a very real sense of what it means to live in a country whose freedoms were paid for by veterans who signed a blank check for an amount up to and including their lives.

This will be a special day for all sponsors, participants, and volunteers. Please support the Patriot Benefit through one of the many sponsorship levels available below.

The Patriot Benefit begins with a ceremony honoring veterans from the Greatest Generation forward, many of whom served in our nation's fiercest battles: Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Battle of the Bulge.  Among them are Purple Heart recipients, prisoners of war, and wounded warriors from recent conflicts. This moving ceremony sets the patriotic tone for a great day.

Jack Nicklaus designed the LionsGate  course, which is a championship venue.  He described the course as being “outstanding for several reasons, including its beautiful views, rolling fairways and capability to challenge both the amateur and the seasoned golfer."
