I can’t thank you enough for your generosity. Receiving this scholarship has helped me feel a sense of financial security and will let me focus more on my studies with less worry. I look forward to being able to give back to my community once I’ve begun my teaching career.

Doughnuts and coffee are available at check-in, and complementary food and beverages are offered on the course.
The Patriot Benefit begins with an invocation followed by the singing of our National Anthem. The solemn playing of taps and the armed forces melody concludes the opening ceremony. This moving ceremony sets the patriotic tone for a great day.
Jack Nicklaus designed the LionsGate course, which is a championship venue. He described the course as being “outstanding for several reasons, including its beautiful views, rolling fairways and capability to challenge both the amateur and the seasoned golfer."
Collared shirts and soft-spike shoes only, please. Denim jeans and jogging apparel are not allowed.
Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate is a championship, private club with a specific dress code.
Major General Greg Gardner (USAF, retired) and Captain Al Gorthy (USN, retired) present a check to Park University after the 2021 Patriot Benefit.
Relax and experience the camaraderie of the closing ceremony. Enjoy the buffet, share in the excitement of raffle drawings for prizes donated by local businesses, and the presentation of 1st and 2nd place awards.
